Renegades
Rage Against The Machine - Renegades
RATM has such infectious energy in their music. I've been hooked on their music since high school. This album consists of covers of a diverse group of songs, from the Rolling Stones and Devo to EPMD and Cypress Hill.
As Rolling Stone's Tom Moon puts it:
The very act of overcoming such diverse works as Springsteen's "The Ghost of Tom Joad" and the Rolling Stones' "Street Fighting Man," Afrika Bambaataa's "Renegades of Funk and Bob Dylan's "Maggie's Farm" requires a certain audacity, but Rage takes things further executing each with the roaring, fearless spirit thatıs been missing in action since these songs were new.

The College Dropout
Kanye West - The College Dropout
My buddy Brian played this for me and I loved it. Tracks 9 and 13 are bad ass.
"Hey, you know what's sexy?"
"No, I don't know what it is, but I bet I could add up all the change in your purse very fast."

Born to Do It
I bought this CD a while ago, and I've listened to it a bunch of times. There are some good songs on it, and while it's not as hit-packed as, say Vs. or Jagged Little Pill, but it's a good listen, depending on your mood.

Some Devil
Dave Matthews' first solo release is good. I've only listened to it at work, only half paying attention to it, so I don't really have anything profound to say about it.

Deltron 3030
Del the Funky Homosapien and Dan the Automator team up to bring us this futristic hip-hop adventure which includes the script kiddie's theme song and an interlude dedicated to one of my favorite movies, Strange Brew.

I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
Warren Zevon - I'll Sleep When I'm Dead (An Anthology)
I've only heard one Warren Zevon song (Lawyers, Guns and Money), and I liked it, so I'll buy this and listen to it eventually.
